Our Core Initiatives
Empowering change for a brighter tomorrow

Jahan e Khusrau
The World Sufi Music Festival. Instituted in 2001, this is our premier annual event and a pioneer in presenting Sufi music to a global audience. For three mystical nights, we bring together artists from around the world to celebrate unity through poetry, music & the sacred dance.

Wajid Ali Shah Festival
Conserving Culture. The flagship event of our Lucknow Chapter, this festival projects the exquisite, syncretic culture of Awadh through magnificent dance ballets, music, and poetry in the region's most cherished heritage locations.

Dwar Pe Rozi
Employment at Your Doorstep. In partnership with a charitable school in Kotwara, this initiative provides employment-oriented, humanist education to underprivileged children, connecting our cultural work directly with grassroots social impact. Add skill dev, education + CSR.

TEH Bazaar
A cultural and economic initiative restoring dignity, value, and sustainability to India’s craft traditions through artistic, inter-regional, and cross-cultural engagement.
TEH reconnects heritage with contemporary life—ensuring crafts remain viable, visible, and respected in a rapidly modernising world.

HU.
The Sufi Way
Our flagship journal explores the rich mystical traditions of Sufism, delving into its history, philosophies, and cultural expressions. Each volume shares the Sufi path's profound and timeless message of love, harmony, and universal brotherhood, reflecting the Foundation's core mission. Commonality within cultures.

A Confluence of Vision
Two streams of thought, one shared mission.
The Rumi Foundation is powered by the partnership of its founder, Padma Shri Muzaffar Ali—an artist, filmmaker, and cultural revivalist steeped in Sufi mysticism—and its Chairman, Dr. Karan Singh, a venerable statesman and philosopher. Their collaboration is a living embodiment of the "Ganga-Jamuni" culture, uniting diverse traditions to champion a singular, powerful message of human oneness.
